These blower motors you can pick them up for about ~$70. Remove panel under the glove box remove the old blower and install the new it's simple and will save you a ton. If you can I'd recommend unplugging the blower motor and check the voltage at the end when it's engaged. Could be your blower relay fuse 20, 30A. Could be your blower relay. Positive 12V from the relay comes into the FSU on pin 2 GRN/BRN. Ignition needs to be in position 2. The blower motor wires on the FSU connector are Pin 1, BRN/YEL and Pin 5, GRN/YEL. No indication of polarity except that most of the ground wires are brown. But, you might try New battery Monday, new sunroof cousel and two days later back in due to same battery drain issue. I tried to manually open the sunroof, two findings here: 1. Power plugged to motor, car on, it’s very difficult to turn the allen key to move the sunroof manually. 2. Power unplugged, it’s much easier to turn the allen key however doing the turning manually doesn’t actually open the sunroof as it’s skipping teeth.
The blower motor is located under the center of the dash. The top part of the dash needs to be removed in order to replace the blower motor. There is a octopus like relay in the drivers side foot well to the left just behind the dash.The fuse is about 40 pound.My heating was not working in side and I replaced this and the heating is working
Some things can change from model to model from beginning of production to end of production. But if you have the e70 X5 50i…then the front passenger SCA (soft close actuator) is powered by a different fuse…in fact each door has its own fuse. See chart belowfront passenger SCA is F146 (circled in green): Q.

Was driving home the other day and the ac fan stopped suddenly. The ac controls still function, its just the blower motor is dead, no air blowing. I have searched and searched and cannot find out exactly which fuse goes to the blower motor. I don't want to pull any fuses out that I don't have to because of the lame brained location of the fuse
